Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP is a therapeutic approach that involves controlled use of the medication, ketamine, in combination with psychotherapy techniques to help clients enter into non-ordinary states to access deeper levels of consciousness, reveal meaningful insights and facilitate deep transformation and change.
Therapeutic Approach
Different from a medical model of treatment, the therapeutic approach attends to the concepts of "set and setting" and includes a combination of psychotherapy sessions that involve 3 different stages of the overall therapy: preparation, dosing & exploration; and integration. Treatment plans are highly individualized and customized to client need.
Collaborative Care
I work alongside and collaborate with Dr. Michael Muench on client treatment plans through all stages of the KAP process to ensure the best quality of care possible. Dr. Muench conducts the initial medical intake for KAP clients and is on-site to oversee and monitor the client's medical care and needs during dosing sessions.
Structure & Fees
The therapeutic model includes 3 phases of intervention noted below. My fee for therapeutic work during all stages of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is $200 per hour. **This does not include the initial medical intake with Dr. Muench
